Student Party Dante is part of the student section of the Faculty Council of Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences (TSHD), together with Active TSHD. This means that we represent the interests of the TSHD students when it comes to policy choices in education and research areas. We find it important to not only respond to cases the faculty board brings up, but also put new cases on the agenda. Therefore, it is vital to stay in touch with the students we represent so that we can detect complaints and problems as quickly as possible.
Student Party Dante consists of up to five members, in accordance with the places available in the council. Every year, there is room for a new board, composed by application and elections. As a board member of the Faculty Council, you have a few busy moments during the year. These busy weeks are characterized by meetings with your own board, meetings with the staff section in the council and meetings with the Faculty Council.
Besides the meetings, we are always open to get in touch with students of the Faculty. Student Party Dante is also involved in different activities, for example gala or a symposium. With these activities we try to connect the students in different fields in Humanities and Digital Sciences, in a formal and informal way.
